The objective for this campaign was to sell a story with the Podcast Content Creator pack as the hero – the essential item for the home creator. In a busy retail environment, communicating a product’s purpose to the consumer at a glance and creating a clear path to purchase are essential for driving conversions.

The brand has said this display was perfect for Costco, and buyers have said it’s one of the best looking displays in the tech section.

We used an innovative design to tell a simple story to help customers understand what they can do with the product and how it can add value to their current home tech. Making it a must have item was key for this campaign.

Our challenge was to meet this objective with a portable fixture that was modular enough to sit on top of a pallet of live product within Costco stores. We achieved this by creating a life-like home desk feel that was also lightweight and able to be flat packed and easily assembled.

In line with our commitment to environmental stewardship, this temporary display was constructed in cardboard which is 100% recyclable and designed to be flat packed. The acrylic case was designed to house ongoing future displays that insert and swap out each current campaign SKU, reducing the cost of freight and manufacture for future acyclic cases. The only elements that need to be reproduced are cardboard, using eco friendly ink printed on 100% re-board.

Visually connecting the customer and telling the story of the product benefits at ground level level has proven effective at converting into sales. What’s more, the brand has said this display was perfect for Costco, and buyers have said it’s one of the best looking displays in the tech section.

The retailer has increased their order, and extended the commitment to the SKU line as a direct result of the display being installed, acting as the ‘silent salesman’ within Costco’s tech aisle. Further to this, Costco will now range this product for another 12 months and has already submitted a follow up order – effectively ensuring a hugely successful return on investment for this product SKU.
